Circuit of America (F1 Track)
The full endurance tour on 6/14/2015 takes about two hours. Taking the tour bus, the excellent guides shows the breath taking views and the story behind F1 race. 
Water Treatment Plant Visit
It's privileged to have clean water ready to drink from our water tab in US. There are millions of dollars spent to build water treatment plants to make water clean for our use. The 6/11/2015 visit tells the story . 
Electronic Recycling Guided Tour
Do you ever wonder what happens when you place an old electronic device in the recycle bin? The visit to the Doug Deals center on 10/13/2014, allowed children to see the process of disassembling massive industrial machines and robots and extracting useful parts and resources. 
Hamilton Pool Guided Tour
Fall is a great season to visit the Hamilton Pool. The scheduled guided tour was on 10/4/2015. The 45 min tour started in the parking lot and went a quarter of a mile down a steep trail into the canyon and then on to the pool itself. 
Pizza Making
The tour was on 9/28/2014. The tour guide tpok the children to visit the kitchen and talked to the chef. Children then worked on making their own pizza. The pizza was served at the end! |
Lakeway Regional Medical Center
The tour on 7/18/2014 would start with a presentation by ER director and then tour of ER room, helicopter pad, x-ray, lab, outpatient, maternity, orthopedics, recovery, etc. 
Landfill Exploration
The guided tour on 6/27/2014 lead children to: solid waste collection, transportation, transfer, disposal, recycle, waste byproducts, landfill construction, operation, closure, and discuss community benefits/issues. 
Bakery Workshop
As part of the tour on 3/11/2014, the tour guide explained the processes and equipment used the professional bakery store. Children worked on shaping their own loaves of bread and they try the warm freshly baked cookies at the end tour! 
Intermediate PowerPoint Workshop I and II
The intermediate PowerPoint workshop, part of the Computer Basic program, is setup for children age 8-10 years old at Microsoft Store on 10/12/2013 and 1/18/2014. The children worked on creating and presenting presentations on the topics of "About Me", "My Favorite..." and "My Summer Time". 
Bank Tour
The guided tour on 4/12/2014 lead children to see most areas of the branch including lobby, offices, kiosk, coin machine, safe deposit vault, teller line, drive-thru, and learn the basic info on the bank/branch operations. 
Aquarium Field Trip
The visit was on 2/22/2014. The children have the exclusively educational guidance by a biological expert. Most importantly, the close interaction with the fish and birds. 
3rd Annual International Music Festival
Winlanes Education organized and participated in the 3rd Annual International Music Festival on 9/7/2013. 
3D Printing Exploration
Winlanes Education members visited UT 3D printing labs on 8/17/2013 to learn the 3D printing technology. 
International Art Nights
Partnering with UT CSSA Music Club, Winlanes Education organized the International Arts Night on 7/13/2013 . The stage is setup especially for the young artists to show their talent along with professional artists. 
iFly Educational Workshop
iFly educational visit is a fun and great learning experience for children. Compared to regular visits, Winlanes Education members had the exclusively educational presentations lead by physics professors along with the fly on 7/22/2013 and 6/3/2013. 
Computer Basics Workshops Kick Off
Partnering with Microsoft Store, Winalnes Education setup a series of the the computer workshops to bring a different learning experience to children with Microsoft Kudo Game Design Workshop on 3/20/2013 and Microsoft Movie Maker Workshop on 5/4/2013. |
